BLOGSCAN - Dubious Clinical "Researchers"

On the Clinical Psychology and Psychiatry Blog, two posts (here and here) gave examples of how the physicians pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies hire to implement their clinical trials may not always be qualified or competent to do such work, to put it politely. Despite some egregious conduct by such "researchers," the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has been slow to take action against them, and presumably the data they produce may still be used to argue for the advantages or particular drugs.

  1. With this post on rsearchers, It is mentioned that the FDA has been slow to take action against such researchers. This premise may be faulty, because it posits that the FDA desires to take action against them.
