BLOGSCAN - Revisiting the Case of Dr David Kern

The Scientific Misconduct Blog posted a retrospective of the case of Dr David Kern, who lost his job and faculty position after discovering a new disease. This case, one of the most important cases of attempted research suppression and punishment of medical whistle-blowers from the 1990s, has never really been revisited, and certainly never been subject to any kind of systematic enquiry.
